Brutus is a tomato variety that originated in Estonia. The large, round, flattened and slightly ribbed fruits can grow to a weight of 1 kg or even 1.5 kg. They ripen to a red colour over a period of about 55 to 65 days. This species can survive well in colder regions.
The full, juicy, fleshy fruits have a delicious taste. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as for sauces and hot preparations.
