Basil Dark Opal BIO De Bolster (3030)

Basil 'Dark Opal' is an annual, dark purple basil with medium sized leaves. You can pick the leaves for immediate use and to dry. Suitable for growing in pots. Requires a warm and sheltered place. As soon as the stems harden, only the leaves can be used.

Pre-sow in trays or pot, 4-8 seeds per pot. Fertilise the soil well; basil requires a lot of warmth, light, nutrition and water. Plant out pots or clusters of young plants 20 x 20 cm. Harvest: cut stems at approx. 10 cm above ground level. Can be harvested several times after regrowth.
