The species Arkansas Marvel originates from the United States. The meaty fruits with ridges at the top are +/- 11 to 13cm in diameter and weigh between 350g and 1kg and more. They ripen over red to orange-yellow with hints of red in about 90 to 100 days.
The large fruits are fleshy with few seeds and have a sweet, peach-like taste. Ideal for salads or in sandwiches.
The plants with good productivity grow between 100 and 200cm high.
