First in Field, also known as 'First in the Field', is a tomato variety that originated in the United Kingdom. The round fruits grow in clusters of 5 to 6 up to a weight of 70 to 90g. They ripen to a red colour over a period of about 40 days. This species is quite resistant to diseases.
The juicy tomatoes have a delicious taste. They are used in salads and cold dishes as well as for sauces and hot preparations.
The plants are about 80 to 120 cm high and have a good yield. (Determinate)
