Palosanto, also known as 'Palo Santo' or 'Palosanto de Cardedeu', is a tomato variety originally grown in Spain. The round, flattened fruit grows to a diameter of +/- 6 to 7 cm and can reach an average weight of 120 to 150g. They ripen to a red colour in about 65 to 80 days. This species is resistant to diseases.
The tomatoes are fleshy and juicy and have a good taste. They are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
The plants are on average 80 to 120cm high and have a good yield.
