Rose de Berne, also known as 'Berner Rose', is a tomato variety that originated in France. The flattened, at the top ribbed fruits grow in bunches of 4 to 6 to an average weight of 120 to 180g and a diameter of +/- 5 to 10cm. They ripen to dark pink in about 75 to 85 days.
The meaty tomatoes are juicy and have a delicious, sweet taste. They are usually used in salads and cold preparations.
The plants are on average 120 to 140cm tall and have a good yield. (Indeterminate growth)
