Russian Cossack is a very rare tomato variety that originated in the United States. The round, slightly flattened, ribbed fruit grows in bunches of 8 to 30 and averages 200g. They ripen to rusty red with purple-pink shoulders and green stripes over a period of about 65 to 80 days. This variety is quite resistant to diseases.
The tomatoes, type beefsteak, have purple-red meat and are very juicy. They have a delicious, smoky taste. They are mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
