Thessaloniki, also known as 'Tessaloniki', is a tomato variety that originated in Greece. The round, slightly flattened fruits grow in bunches of 2 to 6 and average 150 to 300g. They ripen to a red colour over a period of about 68 to 80 days.
The tomatoes are firm and juicy. They have a delicious, sweet taste and have a long shelf life. This variety is mainly used in salads and cold dishes.
The plants grow to an average height of 160 to 180 cm.
