The cucumber variety Bush Hog is a adorable addition to any vegetable garden. It was given its name because of the appearance of the prickly fruits, like little green hedgehogs.
The fruits can be up to 6cm long. They have a rather bitter taste, so they are more likely to be salted than eaten raw.
As with other cucumbers, it is advisable to grow against a fence. The plants can grow up to 30cm high.
